Heights Safety Training

BML's Heights Safety training is available as a module of the Confined Spaces Course, or as a one-day training session, to suit your needs.

The course covers the selection, fit, use and maintenance of a variety of heights safety equipment, including:

• Harnesses
• Lanyards
• Fall arrest devices
• Ropes and static lines
• Tripods and Davits
• Anchorage points
• Scaffolding
• Ladders

It also covers the relevant legislation for working at heights and includes instruction on hazard identification and risk assessment.

As with all our courses, the training is customised to suit your workplace and special needs.

This can cater for a wide range of work tasks, such as bridge work, communications towers, subterranean installations, including pits and pump wells, working on roofs, or multi-storey buildings.

All courses include extensive practical work and simulated rescues.

We come to your sites and train your employees in the use of the safety equipment you have selected for them.

We teach them to check and maintain the equipment and ensure it is in good working order.
