BML Worksafe Solutions offers you two options for your Confined Space Training.

Choose from our Nationally Accredited Confined Space Course, or let us develop a course that deals specifically with your workplace hazards.

Both options will meet your legislative requirements as an employer. We design our courses to meet the requirements of AS2865 2001, the OHS Regulation 2001, relevant Codes of Practice and the Guidelines for Working in Confined Spaces.

BML is the only training organisation to offer a heights safety module within its accredited confined space course.

We customise our training to ensure it is directly relevant to your workplace. We train in your work procedures, at your worksite, using the personal protective equipment that your staff will be required to use.

Our Confined Spaces course is available in a number of formats, to suit your work schedules.

We offer both full course and refresher course options.

The full course is suitable for those who have not received any formal training in confined space work.

The course is VETAB accredited and offers your employees nationally recognized qualifications. It is usually delivered over 40 hours, but course time can be decreased if students have previously completed a first aid course, or training in first attack fire fighting. Speak to our representatives about the course schedule that suits you.

The course consists of eight modules:

  1. OH&S Legislation
  2. Confined Space Hazards
  3. Risk Assessment & Work Procedures
  4. Heights Safety
  5. Atmospheric Monitoring
  6. Breathing Apparatus
  7. Basic First Aid
  8. First Attack Fire Fighting

Throughout the course, students are given the opportunity to practice their skills, through practical demonstrations and simulated exercises. They must complete these exercises, as well as a written exam, to receive their Certificate of Competency.

The Refresher Course is suitable for those who have completed an accredited course in the past and need to update their skills. This is a one-day course, customized to your needs.
